Explore The Danbury: Custom, Modern Style Meets Functional Living

Check out this thoughtfully designed two story custom Danbury design that blends modern style with functional living spaces. Spanning 2,610 square feet, this custom home prioritizes family needs by offering both privacy and open areas for comfortable living.

 Exterior Design

The exterior of the home features a charming front porch, perfect for enjoying the outdoors, while the rear side-load garage enhances the curb appeal. The combination of White board and batten siding with Pewter horizontal siding and Charcoal shingles gives the house a clean, contemporary look that remains timeless.

First Floor Layout

Inside, the first floor offers 1,790 square feet of space. As you enter, you’ll find a private office immediately to the left, perfect for those who need a quiet place to work. The open-concept main living area—comprising the family room, kitchen, and dining room—creates a spacious and connected feel.

The kitchen is equipped with Hickory cabinets stained in Peppercorn and Santa Cecilia Light granite countertops, giving it a warm and inviting atmosphere. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large pantry, mudroom, laundry room, and a convenient powder room, making everyday tasks easier to manage.

The owner’s bedroom, located just off the family room, features an en suite bathroom with an Iron Ore painted double-vanity (SW7069), Absolute Carrara Quartz countertops, and a tile shower featuring Emser Tile’s Catch tile in the color Silicon Matte.

Second Floor Features

On the second floor, which spans 820 square feet, you’ll find three additional bedrooms. Bedroom 4 stands out with its private bathroom and walk-in closet, offering a more secluded space.  Bedrooms 2 and 3 each have walk-in closets and share a private bath, making this floor perfect for a growing family or guests.

Both bathrooms feature Absolute Carrara Quartz countertops and CustomPro sheet vinyl flooring in Oak. The bathroom for Bedroom 4 includes an Olive Grove painted vanity (SW7734), while the second-floor hall bath features a vanity that is painted Slate Tile (SW7624).

Interior Finishes

The interior finishes of this home have been carefully chosen to balance elegance with comfort:

  • Carpet: Featured in the owner’s bedroom, office, stairs, and second-floor bedrooms, the soft Marvel, Ironside carpet adds warmth and coziness.
  • LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank): The front entry, kitchen, dining, and family rooms are finished with Cyrus, Walnut Waves LVP, providing both style and durability.
  • Sheet Vinyl: Used in the laundry room, pantry, mudroom, and powder room, CustomPro sheet vinyl in Vermont Slate combines practicality with modern design.
  • Wall Paint: The home’s interior is painted in SW7015 Repose Gray, a soft, neutral color that complements the finishes throughout.
